Shelton Brooks

African-American Composer Shelton Brooks was born in 1886, wrote perhaps his most famous song, "Some of These Days", at the age of 23, and died in 1975.

Brooks' songs were masterpieces and still frequently appear in current pop culture. Brooks wrote wonderful catchy melodies that allowed for great flexibility in interpretation.

Brooks' songs hearken back to the early days of vaudeville, and they will take your outdoor or informal indoor concert audience back to those times. Toot Suite Brass Publishing is pleased to make the following arrangements available at Sheet Music Plus.
